The Elmdale Spring 3-In-1 Event gives you four great reasons to come out and show your school spirit while you shop:

1. SPRING CLOTHING, TOY, AND EQUIPMENT SALE – Find great gently-used Clothing, Toys, and Equipment at bargain prices. The CTE Sale runs in the school gym. You will find spring/summer clothing from infant to 12yrs, toys, puzzles, sports equipment, shoes, baby gear, and just about anything that kids need! Everything is pre-sorted by volunteers, so that you can quickly find the stuff you want.

Got stuff to sell? Become a VENDOR!

You can be a vendor at the CTE Sale without even attending! Proceeds are split 50-50 between vendors and the Elmdale School Council. All vendors must register and obtain a vendor number to sell their items by contacting elmdalesale@gmail.com. Drop-off: Bring your tagged items to the gym on Friday May 8th, from 6:00-8:30 pm. Pick-up: Retrieve unsold items on Saturday May 9th, from 2:00-4:00 pm.

Don’t have time? DONATE!

Drop-off: Bring your gently used items to Elmdale during school hours or e-mail elmdalesale@gmail.com for pick up of large items!

2. PLANT SALE – Pick up some vegetable seedlings to grow yourCTE poster_spring 2015 own this summer or buy cuttings of popular indoor and outdoor plants. We need GROWERS as well as buyers so start your own plants from seed or cuttings now!

3. BAKE SALE – Come and enjoy a treat with your FREE cup of Bridgehead coffee while you shop!

4. E-WASTE and USED CLOTHING COLLECTION – Elmdale will host a collection event to collect and recycle unwanted electronic waste such as MP3 players, cameras, telephones, TVs, VCR & DVD players and recorders, radios, and more.

As part of our Annual Spring CTE, Plant, and Bake sale, Elmdale will be trying to raise money through the collection of both e-waste, and new this year, used clothing.  Each tonne (of either clothing or e-waste) we collect pays us $185 and we hope to collect between 5 and 10 tonnes of recyclable material!

The event is being held in cooperation with RecycleYourElectronics.ca — Ontario’s electronic waste diversion program, operated by Ontario Electronic Stewardship (OES). OES makes it easier for Ontarians to safely recycle their electronic waste and keep it out of landfill. 44 electronic items are accepted at hundreds of OES-approved collection sites and events across the province.

Your help is greatly appreciated and we look forward to seeing you! Thank you!
